Supporting Students & Families Through School-Related Challenges

Navigating the school system can be overwhelming, and it’s easy for students and their families to feel lost. As a therapist, I have over a decade of experience and specialize in the unique challenges that arise within educational settings.

I provide support for children, adolescents, and adults facing issues that impact their ability to thrive in school. This includes addressing the effects of trauma, grief, and bullying, as well as providing guidance for academic struggles. I also work with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, to help them manage their unique needs within the school environment.

My goal is to help you or your child access a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) by tackling the underlying issues that create barriers to learning. I can assist with understanding and advocating for effective 504 Plans and IEPs, providing you with the tools to navigate a complex system.

A Compassionate Approach to School Success

My practice uses evidence-based approaches like Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients develop practical coping skills and address deeper issues impacting their well-being. Whether it’s anxiety, school avoidance, or emotional disturbance, I offer a compassionate, client-centered approach to guide you toward healing and personal growth.

I provide online telehealth services via Google Duo, Zoom, Google Meet, and phone, making it convenient to get the support you need. If you’re a student or parent seeking emotional and mental health support for school-related issues, I invite you to view my profile on Psychology Today.
